PHENOMENALLY FOCUSED AND HARD WORKING!!!
Brixtone

 Sipho Ramaru
Phenomenal! Is the word he uses to best describe his new offering called ‘Phenomenon’ which is his new project that is produced by phenom. . .Everything is just phenomenal about this hommie.
Coming up from the streets of benekant Mamelodi (a place most people love to hate), having passion for the rap game and everything he gets involved in, Brixtone is an artist, video director, producer and record label founder who grabs every opportunity that comes his way with both hands. . .When the hell does this fella get the time to rest??? And oh he’s also a part time photographer, ‘all in all there’s no sleep’!!! dudes be working for that cream.
Brix says there ain’t no time to relax, you always gotta get work done and keep pushing because that’s the only way you can make it to the top (legitimately). Now I think we can both agree that this statement can be supported by everything he does and is involved in. Founding a record label two years ago (2012) and doing everything starting from being the C.E.O, rapping and producing just to mention a few, Brixtone believes in establishing a name for himself and rappers he grew up with and not depending on major labels to do the job him you know. . .exploit him and dump him, like a lot of cases we’ve heard of labels ripping artists off and abandoning them after they’re done with them.
The aim behind the conception of establishing his own label was to get rappers off the corners and get them to drive their dream in the game the direction they want. Bully Music Entertainment believes in recognizing, unrecognized talent and growing a sense of having a common goal and then raising the flag of local hip hop up high and just making good music for the love of it! You sure it’s not about the money? Hehehe…
“There’s been a lot of growth in SA hip hop and platforms continue to be created to grow it even more. Our local radio stations like Thobela-Fm have adverts where someone is rapping, advertising a brand of a certain company; even SA awards now have a category for hip hop. Artists come up with their own styles with the likes of the Xhosa rapper, Ifani”. We cannot doubt the fact that our local game is growing and originality is what will keep you in the game for a very long time (in fact, for as long as you want to be in the game). I mean if an artist can say “Fifty Gees a show, hey a n***a ‘bout to top it”…you know which artist says that right? Yeah. . .so such things makes you see and acknowledge the fact that SA hip hop (and the artists), is doing quite well and people eat off it.
Brixtone portrays himself as a businessman man in the entertainment industry, not just an entertainer in the showbiz. ‘Hard working, open minded and willing to learn’ are words that describe. He urges upcoming artists to always have a backup plan in case it doesn’t go down well in your chosen field of entertainment. Getting to the top and eating 100% of his revenue is the ultimate goal at this point. Stay focused hommie!!! Hiphopsplit wishes you all the best…….
