Snapshot From Amantombazan Video

Sipho Ramaru

“iBoyzNBuckz yisplakplak, ungas’tsheli nge champagne spakpak/ Please n***a, I’m thinking about school, fees n***a/ So please get off my steez n***a”

Ricky Rick is not the strongest rapper in the game but his wordplay and flow is sick and freshhh na' mean..?

When I first heard of him and started hearing few of his projects, I was still doubting his lyrically knack.

Personally, I didn’t like the Barbershop joint with DA L.E.S. He caught my attention with that ‘I Need Money’ track though.

Ricky’s rhymes and flow is nice, especially when he kicks anything around BoyzNBuckz!

"si BoyzNBuckz, we keep it stundee, hlisa umoya/ Udlala nge ngkani/ actually...udume ngani? le style sakho sidume ngam"_Nafukwa. . .That's another dope track.

"lebathu lakho li dume ngam/ BoyzNBuckz we mak'a plan/ khohlwa maJordan we finished with that/ botha maHit, studio mix"

And talking about that Amantombazana Remix. . .The dude really murked it! I personally think he has the doppest verse in that joint! No disrespect to them other cats, they killed it too. . .

Watch out for this hommie...He's still making his way up!

“Yo take a pic, Ricky Rick, boss yama swag, boss yama mag/

Boss like I’m pushing the jag, boss zonke boss nonke ride with the kid/

Who you do you know that took a break and came alive like I did/

Yeah, I turn these honnies on tweet with creep creep/

spheth’ abantwana like O week, BoyzNBuckz/

Sdle ma chips the whole week, ngabiz’u-X to show him there’s no beef"

SUGE KNIGHT COLLAPSED IN THE COURTROOM AFTER THE JUDGE SLAPPED HIM WITH A MASSIVE $25 MILLION FOR BAIL!!!

Sipho Ramaru

Hip hop mogul, Marion ‘Suge’ Knight collapsed in a courtroom a few moments after the judge set his bail at a substantial $25 million dollars.

Suge Knight’s bail review hearing was in Los Angeles on Friday, March the 20th, 2015.

The prosecutor cited Suge’s violent history, which the most famous happens to be the night of September 7, 1996, when the Death Row entourage were involved in a fight inside the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas, attacking Orlando Anderson, hours before Tupac’s shooting.

The courtroom was cleared shortly after that, paramedics were seen arriving at the scene and Suge was carried out on a stretcher into an ambulance and left the courthouse.

Knight’s defense attorney, Mathew Fletcher says the 49-year-old told him that he hasn’t been receiving medication for his blood clot and diabetic condition since Thursday. . .oh this is like, the day before. Fletcher further uttered that no information on Knight’s condition was instantaneously available after the incident. It is reported that this is Suge’s fourth time collapsing and been taken by an ambulance.

Suge Knight was arrested earlier this year on the counts of murder and a hit-and-run of 55 year old Terry Carter. This occurrence was caught on camera and started going viral on social media few weeks back. Even after that, Suge still pleaded “Not Guilty” for those charges. Come on Suge, the whole world saw the video!! What makes it even more interesting is the fact that his lawyer says Suge was being attacked and he was trying to flee the scene…how ironic!

The Death Row founder is also accused of being part of a scheme that has extorted more than $10 million from up-and-coming and established rappers as well, in recent years. The Superior Court Judge ordered that Marion Knight be held on a $25 million bail in the murder and hit-and-run case.

His attorney argued that this is a bit too much for the rap mogul to afford. Fletcher tried negotiating for a $2 million dollar bail, but unfortunately, Judge Coen does NOT share the same sentiments on this as he feels a higher amount was warranted.

Marion Suge Knight is the founder of Death Row which was one of the labels responsible for the growth of gangsta rap in America in the early 90’s. He later lost control of the label because of bankruptcy.

MESSAGE TO MR. WEST

Sipho Ramaru

“You always have to steel the moment from others who work equally as hard for their recognition”, word from The Anonymous crew.

This has to be the most potent message directed to a public figure, I’ve ever seen/heard. The anonymous group really threw blistering punches at Ye. . .

I highly doubt there’ll ever be a come-back for that one! Wanna guess why? Because they are hammering him with facts and hard hitting reality…It’s true that the nudist publicity stunts Kim pull today, will probably haunt her daughter in the future.

Here’s the thing, I’m not gonna act as if I was never a Kanye fan, I’ve been his fan before he even dropped The College Dropout. . .while he was still working on Jay-Z’s ‘The Black Album’.

I’ve always respected his work ethic as he has always respected his craft and was at one point, one of the hardest working and humble producers in the game. This was before Kanye blew. But….

We can all admit that things changed when the hommie started calling himself ‘Yeezus’, meaning he's the rap's Jesus and even called himself "God". “You’ve changed so much since your humble beginnings. But you’ve never once been humble” said the Anonymous fella. Kanye West is a talented musician, and that you can’t dispute. . .But it always becomes a problem, for any public figure or celebrity when you let fame and the attention from the public get to your head. That’s when you should start preparing for your downfall as much as you do your peak.

The Chicago rapper was once interviewed by the Power105.1 Breakfast Club Crew and DJ Envy asked Kanye how does he feel about Kim exposing her body to the public, and his answer was; “If she wanna get naked then she can do it”. . .The Anonymous guys then goes on: “You seem comfortable with your wife as she continues to milk the society’s attention with their own controllable obsession with sex” which is to a certain extent, true!

It seems that you just don’t know when it is appropriate to blow out your opinions. . .This is consistent with you”, which is clearly Kanye West’s biggest problem. His opinions matter and everyone should follow and go with what he says. Not a good thing Kanye!

Your fans miss the humble Kanye West who respected the society and inspired them through his art. Respected and promoted other people’s talents. We miss the Kanye who dropped: “Champion” from the album, Graduation. . .

You will always be the hot headed Chicago born spoiled little brat that you are. And no expensive designer wear can ever cover that up”_Anonymous.

NKULULEKO "FLABBA” HABEDI’S MEMORIAL.

Sipho Ramaru

“er ke Flabba”, Nkuli’s famous line before he jumps on a beat!!!

“The name Skwatta Kamp, is actually a name that was inspired by Flabba when we were starting out”_Peter Lynch, Skwatta Kamp day one manager.

Lynch who was the host at the service, gave us a brief history of how he got to manage Skwatta Kamp and shared some of his days with them.

Flabba has always been that rapper who came with the most creative lines and didn’t even have to think long and hard to come with such dope rhymes.

I have to say…it was rather a service filled with a lot of mixed emotions. One moment you’d want to cry, the next, you are bumping to Flabba’s joints and laughing over his crazy lyrics. The hommie was working on a few projects before his passing, and he still hasn’t lost his touch. One of the new singles he has is ‘Do Like I Do’ and track’s remix, which is originally, Kwesta’s song. The sad part of this dope joint is that, yesterday, Tuesday, was supposed to be the shooting of the track’s remix video.

The first acts on stage was Nothende who recited a piece to pay her last respects to Lepara la rap, and then Max-hoba, gave an emotional piece ‘Joko ya hao’. Kwesta sanctified the stage with his performance of the ‘still’ new single ‘Do Like I Do’ and the crowd went in to rap Flabba’s verse. I repeat, Nkuli was a dope and realest rapper in the game!

After Kwesta’s performance, JR came through and said a few words and also mentioned that he and Nkuli were in talks about signing Nkuli to his Feel Good Music label, and as expected, Nkuli’s response to that was: “Batho batlo reng ke sign’a ke ntwana” meaning what will people say when I sign to a kid. After his short speech, JR gave a killer performance and got the crowd going buck wild when he performed his new single with Flabba which is part of the projects that were building up to Flabba’s second solo album that was set to release this year.

The Skwatta Kamp crew were called on stage to share their stories and memories with Flabba who was the craziest and funniest in the squad. “When Skwatta Kamp started out, it was about 12 of us, and people started living nje, Mischief was a Skwatta Kamp member for like a week” said Sugasmakx. The whole crew met through Nish who’s also part of the family.

Bozza came and got the crowd cracking with laughter from the memories he shared with Flabba. “In the past three weeks, Flabba and I spoke more often and he told me how he want his kids to be taken care of” Slikour said. “Lesego, daddy loves you and want you and your brother to be alright” he further went on, “Flabba never had to work hard, but he always had fresh material”. Slikour says Flabba is that one rapper that other artists didn’t have to give advice on how to execute his rhymes, you just had to let him do him.

SKWATTA KAMP
“We are not here to mourn him, but we are to celebrate his life”_KwestaDakar.

Nkuli’s friends and celebrities came in numbers to support the Habedi family. Towards the end of the service, the DJ was playing Flabba’s music and got everyone jamming to the joints…It was a proper yet emotional service!

That’s basically it”, Flabba’s last words from an interview.

HASHTAG# BARS_101

SAME DAMN TIME REMIX!!!

Sipho Ramaru

The kinda verse that would make feel like a failure. . .

"Boy your money and my money ain't the same damn kind/ I can live your life and my life at the same damn time"

What other rappers consider as a lotta money, is just change to Puffy.
Diddy has so much money that he can afford to live another rapper's lifestyle and his own at the same damn time.

"Hold up. . .Say you got that 550, you talking about the Benz nigga/ Say I got that 550, I'm talking about them M's nigga"

Other rappers use this referring to the Benz550, He's talking Million$$$!!!

Daaaaaamn. . .Diddy ain't the hardest rapper in the game, but he went haaaaard on this one!!!!
This is the kinda verse that would make you re-evaluate your life and try to figure out what went wrong?!?!?

9 SHOTS. . .

Sipho Ramaru

“I saw my life flash in front of my eyes”

I can imagine the trauma Khuli experienced when he saw those bullets gunning at him.

The hip hop star went through some snags with the police after he was shot at, being mistaken for a suspect who was on the run earlier on the day of the shooting.

The rapper sued Police Minister Nathi Nhleko for over R-2 million for the incident which occurred in October 2013.

The Motswakoriginator just released a joint based on his experience of that night. He expresses the emotional shock he went through, and being the dope rapper he is and always has been, He uses his techniques and wordplay to murk the joint. Khuli comes through pulling no punches and hitting where it hurts, you know what I mean by that, spitting the truth about our……police force.

He compares his situation to the Marikana incident where over 30 people lost their lives in 2012, fighting for a better salary to provide for their families. The track reminds me of the controversial 10111 by the Motswako rapper, Mo’Molemi which was banned from commercial radio stations.

Khuli said that the minister must pay for the emotional trauma and psychological stress he suffered. In that law-suit, He also included loss on income as he was on his way to a gig in Pretoria. But the case was later dismissed after there was an out-of-court settlement with the police and his lawyer.

“I forgave, and from the time I decided to forgive. . .you know,  I experienced more miracles"
